TESOL CALL IS Electronic Village Online runs annually for 6 weeks in Jan-Feb. Participation is free, and the sessions are run totally by
volunteers. Some sessions are run-ups to the TESOL Convention, while others are on general issues of interest to TESOL practitioners and technology-using teachers.
Learning with Computers is based on selected topics in using computers and the Internet to teach English. A new session starts at regular intervals. Currently (beginning May 2007), the topic is "Listening." Join their YG to get on the email list, and join their wiki to use the resources.
Moodle for Language Teaching gives educators a place to try out Moodle and get help from other teachers
while experimenting. Moodle is a free, opensource course management system comparable to Blackboard/WebCT.
